Nor does it appear on the list of ms office 2010 removal tool for windows 10 free which may be uninstalled.

Then we're stuck with trying to explain that the exe can be removed and walk them through the steps.
For those not involved with managed systems SOHOunless the application is causing problems, it's recommended to leave it and let it do its job.
