I can't seem to get a straight answer as to what operating systems I can manage on my Server Datacenter hyper-v hosts. I've read threads where they say you can legally host VMs that are the current OS version of the host Server and below and I've read threads where they say you can host one OS version newer Server and one OS version lower R2. I take this as being Server , R2 and would not be covered under the Datacenter License. Can anyone shed some light on this topic?
